A Hungarian guy living in Shanghai since more than 7 years who hates people talking about themselves in third person, with a few exceptions: him.
A smart engineer, quite well educated, open to new ideas, Chinese illiterate, and none of these are going to change in the near future. He believes there are no taboos; human beings can and must talk about anything that they are mentally capable to comprehend.
He believes, important decisions are made before they arise, really. Influencers rule, those that make things happen before others even feel the necessity of making a decision. So if you'd feel you made a decision, just think it over.
A cute and funny fella who's in his early twenties ever, never been bored for a second in his life, thanks to his brain that keeps entertaining him whatever happens. His favourite hobby is challenging people, especially in what they're doing unconsciously. Even though he may snore, one of his eyes is always open; so watch out!
The beauty of folding is, when you get on the first day of a new puzzle and you squeeze it as hard as you can and you feel there's no way squeezing out of the thing any more points, you go sleep, and some other bastards are ahead you 200 points the very next morning... now that's the challenge.

Cute, ain't I?
Hobbies: thumb sucking, eating, throwing up, staring at silly adults, and of course...folding
(the thumb sucking and throwing up is a joke.btw, for those without a sense of humor...)
FYI, I don't duel...Please don't challenge me. I will just ignore you. I have a general belief in friendly competition, but i personally consider dueling both a deceptive method of cloaking the obvious and unquestionable favoritism shown to "group" members in their use of guides, ability to monitor soloist solutions, and their imo dishonorable use of beginner-level puzzles to ensure their "superiority" in all venues, as well as a distraction from my primary role as protein folder, adviser to new (and even veteran) players, moderating, and trying to think of how to improve the software and game for all participants.....Best of luck to those of you who *do like to duel.
The mind is a beautiful and terrifying place, full of chaos and order, dancing in an endless duel from birth to death

An educated redneck here, from Dallas, Texas.
When I was in grad school in 1985 at the State University of New York at Buffalo, Roswell Park campus, my master's thesis was to present a computer program that predicted the secondary structures (helix, sheet, loop) of proteins based on their amino acid sequences. Tertiary structure (i.e. folding) prediction was a pie-in-the-sky fantasy.
Imagine my delight, twenty-odd years later, to find out that not only are people determining tertiary structures of proteins, but they've made a *game* of it.
